I don't see Dwight and Harden being more vocal than, say, Parsons on and off the court. Actually, Parsons and Lin talk quite a bit to teammates on the court. To say Jeremy is the leader while there is still a chance that he will be traded isn't smart. Why didn't he say Parsons, who is quite vocal on and off the court one of the leaders? May be he doesn't want to give more leverage to Parsons when it comes to new contract negotiation. Your max players almost by default always your leaders. That's just a smart thing to say to make your top dogs feeling good. DM is a very smart man who always says the right thing.
