Not like either team was in mid-season form or anything either. Most of the time we were trying to learn how to get the ball into the post (Doing it rather ineffectively for the most part) and Indiana was still trying to integrate all their new players into their defensive system as well. These pre-season games won't have say in if we are contenders, pretenders, or what not. They should solely be used to see how the team is meshing, and how they are executing new facets of the game that become accessible.

 

I wish Jeremy would be the 6th man again for this game but McHale would be eaten alive by the Taiwanese media.

 

out of curiosity, why do you want LIn as a 6th man for this game?

if we simply want to see him play w the 2nd unit, there are things mchale could do in the 2nd half to make that happen rather easily

young lin has played remarkably well in preseason (his stats have been great). his outside shot seems to have improved and left hand a bit better. so not sure the benefit of not starting him

 

wow... Dwight arrived an hour late for an Adidas promotion event, left in a hurry as well, hope he's in good shape to play tomorrow...

the combo of the thread titled 10/13/2013 and my DVR listing the game as "10:30-1:00a" had my brain thinking it was a Sunday morning West Coast start as opposed to the late Saturday night start time which has really made my day much brighter.

The benefit of not starting him:
1. He will not be a spot up shooter only
2. He will shot more and help the bench to be v3ry good so rockets will have balance power at the first unit and second unit
3. He will be primary pg for 2nd unit. Harden will be primary handler for 1st unit.
4. His skill will be max when he is off the bench
5. Etc etc

Yes the advantages if lin being starter:
1. D12 will get easy point
2. D12 will have more pts i believe
3. There will be 5ons of alley up things. Buttt that.s it. After that ur second unit will lose control and our opposing team will have a chance to take over the lead as usuL

Solution :
1. Give a same amount of play time between lin and bev
2. Let lin play as starter for a while. Maybe 2 or 3 minutes. Then bev come of the bench. After that just rolling like usual

Some might not agree. But this js only my opinion even i donlt like him come off the bench as his fans
I am lof. I prefer him to be a startee but. Mchale is right. Let.s see if that can bring more win cause of the balance between 1st n 2nd unit

 

Might as well see what Smith looks like...

 

Yep, Thunder either got deep into the playoffs or into the Finals. So Harden should come off the bench, right?
