That won't happen because McHale will yank Lin off the floor with 4-5 minutes left in the first quarter like he does every game good or bad, and he'll be on the bench until the final minutes of the second quarter, but not allowed to take any shots (or get chewed out). Again benched at the 6 min mark in the third quarter and won't smell the fourth. Lin will score 10-12 pts, 5 assists, and the haters on this board will talk about how unimpressive his play was. Meanwhile Bev's 10-12 pts and 5 assists are written up on the main page of CF and described as being "phenomenal" again. Nothing to see here.
Right, because that's all Beverley is ever good for and is the sole reason why he's getting minutes. 5/5, please write more.
My impression was that it was about size. Shaq also did not get some calls that he might have got if he was 50 pounds lighter. He could get hammered but hardly budge. I just ran some numbers, minutes/foul for big men: Shaq: 3.7 min/foul Dwight: 3.9 Wilt: 4.0 Yao: 5.3 Dream: 5.8 Kareem: 6.2 Wow, Dwight has already played 9000 more minutes than Yao.
I don't forget that. Just never realized Dwight has more NBA experience than Yao. Weird. Also, Dwight has more miles on him than I realized.
Because you want a minority in your company, and seen by lots of others, but not running your company or in executive management?
I definitely remember Shaq being hammered a lot with no calls. Also saw a Youtube vid of people talking about Wilt saying that he got a ton of no calls also because of that same reason. Interesting how often they get fouled correlate with their free throw percentages: Shaq: 53% FT% Dwight: 58% Wilt: 51% Yao: 83% Dream: 71% Kareem: 72% Looking at these numbers together with yours make it seem like Hack-a-Shaq was invented in Wilt's era. lol Anyway, didn't mean to derail the thread.
I think you have turned the truth upside down. Fans are fans, they aren't bad. Haters are from Mordor, trolls (McHale) are ogres. If you don't care about the feelings of the fans you're bad.
If Bev had started every game in the season and then the first road game played in Chicago he comes off the bench then you're right. Second fiddle......so anyone who thinks coming off the bench is a demotion is dumb......LOHs are the rabid ones actually.
