Still worth the risk when considering your WR depth, which is ideal for taking a shot on a boom/bust like Spiller. Cruz & Gordon are clearly you 1&2. Amendola is your other start when he gets into game shape, and even if he doesn't, Edleman & Wallace still offer quality insurance. Stacy had a solid week, but the STL schedule is BRUTAL for rbs. You stand to gain significantly more at a position of need than you risk losing at a position of strength.
Please help. I have to accept one today. I can basically give up gronkowski or Julius Thomas or and get my choice of aj green or demaryius. Redraft league. Please help
Of your two TE's move Gronk for sure. They share a similar ceiling, but Gronk is a significantly higher risk. Who you choose to get for him is a bit of a toss-up. I came into the season thinking Green would end up being the #1 wr in the league, but that clearly hasn't happened. Thomas has suffered a bit due to all the mouths Peyton has to feed. I lean towards AJ a bit. There's not a wrong choice between the two, and his production has been a bit less than Thomas' despite 15 more targets, but he will only get better. Plus you stagger your bye weeks by not having 2 guys from the same team.
who should i start? antonio brown, terrance williams (vs. Washingtons D), Brian Hartline, Nate Washington, or Greg Jennings...
True, true... I'm not big on Spiller this year, wasn't big on him when I drafted either. Ranked Richardson ahead of him. But yeah, I'll probably have to take this deal.
Yea, I wouldn't have touched Spiller in the first round either. He's too boom/bust, and I want a higher floor in those first few rounds. But getting him in exchange for a matchup dependent flex play is like drafting him in the 6th, and the payoff potential is too high to not gamble.
Honestly that's a pretty good trade for you. Since SF has decided to run the ball more this season Gore's stock has gone up recently so selling him high for Foster would be a good idea and Foster look's like he's returning to form. At Denver with a QB like Manning since he spreads the ball out so well on some days Thomas would get pedestrian numbers, but I would still pounce on that trade personally.
Sounds like the others lean towards the players you'd be giving up. I'm not sure I agree. Foster and swap receivers. It would be selling high on Gore & Welker, and buying Foster low. Welker & Gore have the TD advantage through 5 weeks, but think about it this way; Thomas has 135 more yards and 3 fewer TD's to this point, making the scoring difference about 1pt per game on avg in Welker's favor to this point. I wouldn't expect Welker to maintain this pace and break Moss's single season TD record. Thomas is a safer bet to maintain pace. It's similar between the other two also. The current point differential is slight, but Foster get's 1-2 points more from yardage per game to balance the scoring, & in his TD avg is much more likely to trend upward.
What I'm concerned most about is that if the Texans season goes to the crapper, the Texans just closing shop and resting Arian.
Had Owen Daniels as my only starting TE, now he's out for the season pretty much. I picked up Coby Fleener, and then got these two offers. What do yall think? I get: Garret Grahm I send: Percy Harvin I get: Darren Sproles and Jermichael Finley I send: Percy Harvin
AJ says he's good to go and he has a good matchup. But I would probably start Garcon.. Someone who can put up the same numbers and is coming off a bye week. AJ is at risk for reinjury, schaub sucking factor, or a heavy dose of Foster.
