I think that might be a little high for Parsons, but that is definitely too high for Klay Thompson. All he really does is score, but he's not particularly efficient. His TS% last year was .533. Parsons gets more rebounds, more assists, and scores about the same (1 point less) but at a much more efficient rate. Wherever they are rated, Parsons should be much more than 2 spots higher than him.
Omer Asik is definitely better than Parsons. Asik is a top 50 player in this league. Defense has always been under-appreciated. However, Parsons is going to prove he belongs as a top 50 player in this league as well this year. What I'm seeing from him so far this preseason looks very, very promising. He has improved his game. 17-5-5 line from Parsons is about what I expect from him, along with solid defense. That's top 50 in the NBA.
Beverley ok...... he can climb some more later Lin should be Top 90-95 Asik is the one who should be 58 Parsons should probably be where Asik was 64-68 Dwight with Lakers last year: 11-15 Harden is around Top 4-8
Someone said he needs an elite skill to climb higher. IDK what it could be? Scoring? Rebounding? Playmaking?
His "elite" skill is that he's good at everything. Shooting from outside, scoring inside, facilitating, defense, rebounding, you name it. He's good at it.
Parsons went on a bunch of ESPN shows during the summer. Not surprising Definitely/obviously overrated, but whatevs
Chandler doesn't have that one thing he's great at yet though that's what's keeping him from the "all star" level My uncle says that chandler reminds him of Rudy T I wasn't in the US hell I wasn't even born yet but does anybody else think so? I'd more compare CP to Toni Kukoc but a much better defender.
I think Espn only saw his performance on the playoffs and the buzzer beater on the lakers to force overtime...
