Dwight also played 7-8 minutes less than the 1st game.

Howard started slowly, he was better in the third quarter

Beverley is the ideal PG with Howard and Harden in, since all the PG would have to do is play defense, stand in the corner and say out of the way......whereas, for Lin to be effective, he needs to have the ball in his hands to create/penetrate, in short, there's not enough touches in the starting 5 should Lin be included, hence making Lin the 6th man would tap his strengths, and even pad his stats (14 pts, 7 rbs, 6 assists, he won't get those numbers playing with Parsons, Harden and Howard)

I'm basing that off of articles how Lin is getting the most attention in Manila. Disregard if that's not true, regard if it is.

I think the team looked great with Lin as 6th man (although I still prefer starter), BUT I still think the timing was awful and should have happened when they got back to Houston. I'm just afraid we'll be seeing A LOT of articles/videos/questions regarding Lin losing his starting spot when they go to Taiwan.

LOFs why do you feel the need to be Jermey's protectors of the internet. I love the guy, as a Houston Rockets fan and want him to be great, but noone wants to listen to yall bash our head coach and players. Go make a LOF fan site for that ish.

Couldn't find a completed boxscore, and didn't think of checking the Chron. Seems like he gave Lin the 4th quarter, which probably makes it a bit more palatable. Could Lin have done that as the starter? Yes, especially if he was given all that 4th quarter garbage time too.

In the last game and today, Howard seems to have developed a move going to the middle from the right block and shooting with his left hand. He just needs to pivot back to his left shoulder and use his right hand which is his strong hand when Hibbert closes the middle. In several situations he seems to be set on going left even when Hibbert closed in and this resulted in a block by hibbert or turnover by howard.
Several times he pivoted back to his right hand and shot a hook shot that worked perfectly for him.

Ah that's right, thanks. Brain fart, since he hasn't played in these first two games, forgot who else was available from off the bench. Ya, probably him, Casspi, and Brewer would be interchangeable depending on if you want more offensive firepower or defensive stops.
