"True" longtime Houston sports fans don't sit by idly and support the status quo. The Texans Re treated like Bob's personal moneymaking, toy/club. And, believe me after
what most of us have seen and bled for over the years, such ducks are quickly recognized by their quacking..

I'll say that IF matt turns it around and plays like it was playing before the end of last year, it would be great if people started wearing burnt Schaub jerseys to the game. This isn't a statement that he will get better so please don't quote reply with the same repetitive babble.

I'm not giving up on this season bc I really couldn't take the idea that the only hope is over a year away. Hoping for the best.

I might be in the minority but as long as Matt Schaub is the Texans starting QB I want him to improve drastically. Whoever the Texans put on the field is the team I root for. I'll let the people paid to make personnel decision decide whether or not he should be on the team or not.

Frank Bush, Joe Marciano and many others thank you for that attitude.

If fans had their say the whole team and coaching staff would change every other year.

Plus it's not like I can do anything about it. I can't cut Schaub. I can't fire Marciano. I can't kick Kubiak to the curb.

Thinking Matt Schaub sucks does not make a person a bandwagon fan. You don't know what that term means.

That's not true. On average, Morey has been approved of on this board his entire tenure.

To say "I want Schaub gone" is much different than saying "I know Schaub sucks, but I want him to improve. I hope he does and I back him up."

I think that what ab0_bleedred is saying is he doesn't want the team broken up, just improved.

Bandwagon fans stop watching games or rooting for a team when the team loses.
I didn't know Morey was a team or coach.

He's not talking about GMs, he's talking about coaches and players. :p

You are making my point for me. Wanting Schaub gone does not make someone a bandwagon fan and the OP should not misuse such a derogatory term to describe people who disagree with his opinion.

I would venture to say that 99.9% of the people here posting in the Texans forum watch every single game no matter what our record is. How else would they form an opinion on the team?

What do you base that high percentage on?

I'm talking about the ones that stop watching the game just because we're 3-21 at halftime, or don't want to watch after we lose two-in-a-row, or can't name three linebackers and two running backs on our team. I would venture to say that 99% of the bandwagoners are in those.

Not true. Actually Morey was heavily debated in GARM before the Harden deal. I still think he's overrated but let's not start that conversation here :)

Like it's already been said Morey is not a good comparison. A better comparison is McHale/Lin vs Kubiak/Schaub.
