It's rather fitting that the Braves Dodgers game would end with Justin Upton striking out. He batted .143 this series.

What a terrible night that was if you are an Atlanta sports fan.

Good. Pretty classless fan base. And good riddance to the Braves.

Worked out, but I agree. I probably would have let him go in Game 5 on full rest.

Braves players boycotted Chipper Jones' first pitch in NLDS Game 1

That Braves team is a tight, weird, edgy bunch.

Having said that, Chipper probably shouldn't have told the truth :) I can't imagine Biggio going on radio and talking about how bad the Astros are. He'd polish that turd, and that would be the right thing to do.

But that Braves team is still a tight, weird, edgy bunch.

i think the key factor was Greinke, who's been just as good as Kershaw the last few months. This way, they got 2 aces instead of 1 had they needed it.

What you call "tight weird and edgy", I call "great big huge vaginas".

Stros had a pre-draft deal with Shelby Miller, Luhnow took him 2 spots ahead so they settled for Jio Mier. b*stard.

We finished that season .5 game ahead of the Cardinals. We never played that 162nd game because it didn't matter. If we had played and lost that game, we'd have drafted 19th instead of the Cardinals, and we'd have Shelby Miller.

Bud Selig, the man who tries to give meaning to meaningless games, and tries to take the meaningfulness out of meaningful games. Screw Bud Selig and screw Hurricane Ike.
