If you are bandwagon fan please stop reading.

I've never been more upset being a part of a fanbase in my life. To whoever confronted Matt Schaub at his home, you are a NATIONWIDE disgrace to this organization. Please never wear a Texans jersey again...you are the epitome of a Dallas fan.

I might have lost faith in Matt Schaub but a part of me remembers 2009 Matt. The QB that led the NFL in yards. The QB the was confident in every throw he made.

Yes, he has lost his confidence, but we as a city need to have his back because at the end of the day...he is our only hope to be a contender. Tj, Keenum or any free agent has no chance of leading us to the promise land...but old Matt Schaub does.

For these reasons I hope we as a city we can rally behind our QB. Let's go in front of his house and show him support...not hate. Wear your number 8's this week and support our QB.

Nobody go to his house again. If you want to have a rally go do it at the Texans facility or something.

If you think there's any fanbase that is any different, you need to stop following sports because you're going to be disappointed.

Every fanbase in every city and every country has its idiots. There are always nutjobs. It sucks for players when something like this happens, but it's not representative of Houstonians or the Texans fan community. It's just one or two demented losers. Thankfully, Matt has access to police/security that can help him when things go too far.

If you truly think Matt is the best football option for the Texans, that's one thing. But changing your entire outlook based on the whim of one or two losers? Letting the lowest common denominator completely frame how you look at a complex issue? That's just silly. Whether you want Matt to be your quarterback should be based 100% on on-field reasons.

Being frustrated with the team and wanting a replacement for your deer-in-headlights, noodle-armed, lead-footed QB doesn't make you a bandwagon fan. Quite the opposite: only true fans continue to root for their teams under such circumstances. But that doesn't mean tolerating awful play from a player, poor coaching, and/or questionable management.

    This x 1,000.

I am sure Matt Schaub will love having his privacy violated again by fans because they are now supporting them.

As you can see professional athletes just love fans showing up at their house uninvited.

LOL! It has to be at his house for some reason. I envision masses of supporters & haters going at it out there, like those opposing factions of issue-protesters screaming at each other in front of government buildings.

Schaub nervously peeking out his window.

    Don't have fan created Rallies.

Most of us should be grown adults, this is a professional sport in one of the largest cities in the US and not some high school or college town supporting the local team. While the intention is noble, having another Rally to support Schaub is no better then the idiot that went to his house in that it is unnecessary and makes the community look bad.

You want to support or degrade the guy, do it in bars, message boards, social media and on radio. Don't make spectacle of yourself because all you are probably doing is adding more junk to his already scrambled mental landscape and hurting not only him but your fellow fans reputation.

Let Schaub work this out on his own because there is nothing us fans can do to help him at this point.
