If anyone wondering how the fans found out where Schaub lives http://www.chron.com/homes/gallery/Be-a-neighbor-to-a-Texans-039-star-71616.php?cmpid=hpfc
Some people's lives are so pathetic, their happiness is completely wrapped up in the success of their favorite sports team. When a player under performs to this degree, people take it personally. It's absolutely disgraceful and not only reflects poorly on Texans fans but the human race in general. I can understand getting pissed and venting online or to your friends, but to take it to the man's home... wow completely uncalled for.
Way out of line. At least he was this Columbian footballer who was killed after an own goal. What do sports mean to people? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrés_Escobar
I'm on DD's side just for the sake of being against all you guys on your high horses. Anybody can display moral indignation when they're online; to me it's almost as bad as some other guido bragging about the size of his package. Let he who is Schaubless cast the first stone. At least that way we know it won't be intercepted and returned for a touchdown.
This is the same phenomenon as players getting killed in third world countries for under-performing. Certain people's lives are so joyless and uneventful that all they have is sports, and when someone like Schaub gets in their crosshairs, they take it personally. It's an absolute disgrace, and I hope whoever these scumbags are get caught and punished to the full extent of the law. Personal safety should NEVER be compromised, and I actually feel terrible that he can't even feel safe in his own home now. His wife must have been terrified, as well as his children.
I think the best part about this story is that he posted pictures of Schaub's family on Facebook and his friends all probably ripped him. I don't think he did anything illegal per se but I wouldn't be surprised if he has already been issued a restraining order.
