They scared now! <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/NaVa6NHwUUg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
We are better on paper than Brooklyn, Knicks, Warriors, Grizzlies. We have the 2 best players on the court vs those teams(Harden does more for the team than Carmelo Anthony)
Pointless to do these rankings right now. They'll all be scrambled by injuries and moving pieces at the trade deadline.
Contenders 1/2) Heat and Spurs are clearly better. 3) Nets are the most dangerous team on paper. If all their vets stay healthy by playoff time, they are clearly better than LeBron + co on paper. C'mon, just look at this roster. Lopez Garnett Pierce Johnson Williams 4) Rockets. On Paper, we are definitely the fourth best team. Outside of OKC and Miami, Rockets are the only team in the league with 2x true franchise players. 5) Warriors. They got more talent than Rockets, but they only have 1 franchise player. Stephen Curry is a legendary shooter. Pretenders 6) Bulls. Rose is the most overrated superstar in the league. Without him, Bulls are still elite defensively. Just check out their record last year. There is really no chance that Bulls will get past Heats (or Nets) so there can't be any other contenders in the East. 7) Clippers. Chris Paul + Monkeyball will do damage, mainly because how good Paul is. 8) Pacers are so overrated. Their playoff run was a product of circumstances. Their best offensive player is either broken down Granger or 42% shooting Paul George. They can thug it out and win games, but that won't really fly against the elite teams in the playoffs. 9) Grizzlies is the Pacers of the West.
Here's how I see them .... before the first regular season game is played. 1. Miami - defending champs. 2. Indiana - deep and balanced. 3. OKC Would be higher if WestBrick was healthy. 4. SA - Hard to bet against Duncan , Parker & Pop. They have young talent too. 5. Houston - Probably fight it out with GSW for the 3/4 seeds in the West. 6. Golden State - may be better than this , great back court and strong inside play not to mention Iggy. 7. Clipper - CP3 needs some help , if Griffin improves offensively they have a chance. 8. Memphis - Tough out , strong in the paint. 9. Brooklyn - I cant buy into that team. Old and an inexperienced coach (may balance out) 10. New York - Come on , they are the Knicks .... they will find a way to piss away another season, really don't think they can compete with Mia. Indy or Brooklyn. Again the East is top heavy and the West deep.
Miami and San Antonio are givens. LAC and OKC (if healthy) are there. Indiana is in the mix. Golden State, Brooklyn and Chicago are wildcards. I think Houston is top 5 or 6 overall.
I don't get how you can say Bulls are pretenders when you have Warriors as contenders. Warriors made it because Denver was missing their best scorer in Gallinari. Bulls have been a 60 win team with Rose playing
I'm fine with it. Until they produce on the court, and prove the naysayers wrong. ......the days when we had a boss of a team on paper (artest, Yao, Tmac).....we know how that went.
You know what I noticed about some fans assessment of a team after they had some success without their Superstar. They use the player is overrated stance. Bwhahahaahah crazy IMO, add Rose to that team and they are deadly. If Rose come out and put up MVP numbers again we can best believe they will be in the thick of things in the East.
Lmao. We're worse than New York, a team that we completely schooled last season, who got worse losing Novak and adding soft-ass Bargnani, while we lost Delfino and added Howard??
Tenth best record or tenth best team? Unless Dwight self destructs, there are not nine teams better than the Rockets.
1. Miami 2. Indiana 3. Houston 4. LAC 5. Brooklyn 6. NYC 7. San Fran/Oak 8. San Antonio 9. Memphis 10.Chicago
Who freaking cares? Him stating this doesn't mean it's true, or that it will happen. Let's just relax, and let our play speak for us during the season
