I voted Manziel. He shows me something that is the exact opposite of Matt Schaub. The best word I can use to describe it is...Moxie. Kirk Cousins would be interesting here. LOL that TJ Yates has ZERO votes.
Only 19 wow. College football is having a Golden age as far as Qb depth right now. Alot of talent Coming up in the next few years. UH also has an 18 year old who looks Special in John O'Korn.
Cousins has Tony Romo talent as far as someone who can put big numbers here. Only question on Cousins is how would he do when the score is close in the 4th Qb.
No, pleaaaase, UH fans please stop. Give it up already. If the military draft comes back I hope Keenum and Kolb are the first to go, I cant take this anymore.
I agreed with Kolb and Keenum being limited and are problaby backups but O'Korn is a different animal.
Yeah, Cousins gets a bit too much credit for doing very little. But he does have the right tools and was always a good prospect, unlike Flynn who was more of a... you know, Keenum-level talent.
Serious question because Ive seen a few people mention his name...why? There are at least 8-10 QBs who have much more talent than him and are rated higher. Is there something in his game that stands out?
Manziel is not going to translate well at the pro-level IMO. However, I want my 2014 QB to have been drafted in the 2014 Draft. Lets trade up and get us our future guy.
The odds are against Keenum being a star, simply because the odds are against every quarterback. Only a tiny fraction achieve long lasting success and even fewer become dominate. However, Keenum has given no indication he's going to be a bust. So far, he's passed every test, and the Texans need to see what's he's got before they use a first or second pick to draft a QB. But if the Texans need a QB and Johnny Football is on the board, don't think for a second that McNair won't pull that trigger.
He is gritty and is a competitor. He won't lay in the ground like Schaub does when he feels a rusher going towards him. Murray looks solid but his height at 6 ft hurts him.
