Yes it is so worth it. My hope is that CSN gets there crap together before the site gets shut down. It has been great to watch games at whim and the quality has been great as well.
HOW?! I have Chromecast but have had issues streaming non-Netflix/Hulu/Youtube sites on to my TV without lag. Is the streaming quality legit? Thinking of jumping on this after reading some of the NBALP reviews (not in Houston), especially if it can work with Chromecast.
Just download Google Cast app for your Chrome Browser. Once you have Chromecast connected, your TV will display whatever is playing in your browser. Just plug 'n play. Way easier than setting up a server & RSS feeds, etc. The lag just depends on how good your wifi connection is. If there is a way to hardwire Chromecast, I haven't a clue about that.
Lag will also depend on how good your PC is. Love my chromcast. I now have HBO GO back on my tv, and also Redzone, NFL Network, and Sunday Ticket through chrome.
I thought ballstreams was safe because they were based in the Netherlands. Isn't that how theFirstRow.eu was able to survive all these years?
I hope you guys who ordered this like being single because when your wives or girlfriends see "ballstreams" on the Credit card statements they will leave you thinking you're gay.
I think I just might have to cave and buy a chromecast now lol. If I can't watch this service on my TV then it's pointless. I do admit the PS3 server setup and & RSS feeds is a pain the arse. Also, I do not want to watch games on my tablet or on my computer. Thanks.
This is exactly what I do. It works flawlessly and I run 2 games side by side at the same time on my tv downstairs if theirs another matchup I'd like to see as well besides the Rockets. It's definitely the easiest option I think. You guys happy and content now that I was telling you about this? I'm just so glad it's not a bust and things are going well so far.
So I am a little lazy and don't want to go through this whole thread, how easy is this to stream to your 360?
Was able to watch the first game last night through chromecast and was happy with the quality. Can't wait to watch the rockets, getting rough watching the Texans.
Won't work for me. A) I don't have a laptop B) It's a pain to run an outlet wire from my computer to my TV. I'd much rather sit comfortably on my couch running ballstreams from my tablet via chromecast. Let's do this!
So this website has nothing to do with Jason Collins, or Jeremy Lin and Chandler Parsons late night hours at Holiday Inn??
