Last nights episode was even worse than the season premier... The preview for next week looks fairly promising at least
Some thoughts... I actually think the actress who plays Dana is okay as an actress, but Jesus...the writers just give her the most worthless material. The scenes with her and Brody back in season 1 were good, but ever since then it's been horrible. However...everything else is good I think. Nothing amazing but I'm enjoying it. Claire Danes is probably the best actress in TV in my opinion, though the writers are kind of making her full time crazy, which I hope stops. I think the whole Saul cover-up/throwing Carrie under the bus thing is interesting, and I'm excited to see where it goes. Lastly...Quinn is a badass. All of his scenes are awesome.
Is Saul in fact the mole and behind the explosion? I'm leaning towards yes. I predict that he or Quinn will kill Damian Lewis in the 2nd to last episode of the season before he is outed as being the mole. I hope Dana does not become a terrorist and ruin the conversion plot line--finally Muslims are portrayed positively.
I've always thought Saul was the mole since season 1 but don't know what his motive would be. He's Jewish right?
Another show I need to get caught up on. Right now I got Breaking Bad/Game Of Thrones/Walking Dead all simultaneously this month.
wow...that's over-the-top wrong. You actually think Saul is a terrorist, as if this is some afternoon soap opera vs an award winning show? Saul is the very last person in this show who would be behind the explosion. sheesh
Curiosity? Does it really matter if it's discussing one of the shows characters? I brought it up because maybe if I remembered incorrectly about his faith or his background then that could lead to some information about whether he could be the mole. I also suspected Quinn early on but now not so much. He seems to be a legit good guy.
I agree, just wasted screen time in my opinion. Saul being a terrorist would be worse than anything done on Dexter, I highly doubt they'd got that direction. Next episode does look pretty good, we'll see.
Gotta say that I have been disappointed this season so far. On the other hand.... the second episode of the season for Eastbound and Down was hysterical.
I thought the first episode was pretty good. Haven't seen the second yet. Thoughts on why this season is so bad? Or is it the fallout from season 2's faltering end game?
Surprised so many people think this season is starting so badly. The Dana parts are pretty horrible, but other than that, I'm thoroughly enjoying it for what it is.
Same here. I actually enjoyed the second episode more than the first. Hopefully we get some Brody this Sunday.
