LOL @ some kid asking his parents to get him a subscription to a website with a name that sound like a gay porno site.
lmao @ the kid's parents. It's probably a troll though, but it would be funny if he just cost everyone $60
live streaming on my Android phone works now (it didn't for the Rockets game). They may have fixed the problem for all mobile devices.
I still can't get it to stream on my HTC Thunderbolt. I was desperately trying to get the Rockets' game streaming Saturday night but no luck. It works just fine on my home PC though.
I just noticed the BSDroid app available and installed it and I am now able to stream using their app.
I appreciate it tallanover...will buy my access on the 17th of this month like the previous poster mentioned and I might need your help. Maybe another alternate way is to have him remote into my PC
I'm able to play the live streams on my PS3 but are any of you experiencing any lag? I'm streaming the live game feeds using the Serviio console to the PS3 but it's a pain to set up. Once running, the feed is pretty choppy (but very clear). Any one got suggestions to get rid of the lag?
Try using a wired internet connection on your PS3. Seems to work better for me. If you're already doing that, then I don't have any other suggestion.
I know man. It is so awesome though. Tonight I was watching all of these different preseason games. As soon as a commercial hit, I just clicked on another game. Ahhhh the life..
I'm using wireless. So wired connection directly from the router to the ps3 and still using serviio and normal set up correct?
Not 100% sure, I do not have the PS3 setup. But I can say from experience that streams always perform better in a wired setup. Just set it up the same way but use a wired connection for the PS3, try that.
Pros 1. Since the preseason started I have been able to: Watch (and rewatch x2) the rockets game Catch Rose's return Buy into the Bogdanovic hype Laugh at Lakers fans getting excited about Nick Young + Kaman + Xavier Henry Watch the T-wolves get embarrassed at home by CSKA Moscow and wonder why Milos Teodosic is not in the NBA Derrick Williams could finally step up Reestablish that Thomas Robinson sucks 2. You cannot overstate how amazing it is to watch ANY game in HD + 60fps at YOUR convenience 3. The admin is awesome. He monitors the game chats to promptly address any issues/questions that arise. Cons 1. The site could shut down 2. No really, the site could shut down and you'd be left high and dry at best. 3. 2% of the time you get issues like stuttering during streams or on-demand links that don't work. Of course, the admin is always aware and fixes the issue in a timely manner. Streaming to XBMC, 360, PS3 and mobile isn't as stable as you'd like and i'm not sure if this can/will be fixed. Bottom line: If you are not comfortable with the risk, don't do it. Otherwise if you are a Rockets/NBA fan, you cannot find ANYTHING like this on the market; this is like the convenience of Netflix + content of NBA LP...on steroids. There is no question of quality or service. BTW, if you are tech savvy and want a loophole to this loophole: Spoiler http://www.ballstreams.com/devices
Decided to try this through Chromecast last night & it worked perfectly. Pretty simple $34 solution for those having a tough time getting it to work on a PS3 or 360.
