Exactly, cuz we'll use our #1 on something other than a qb. And Kubaick's ego will not allow him to accept his Schaub failure.

Tim Tebow would be an upgrade at QB right now for us.

The NFL is a different league now. You need a mobile QB, who can scramble and throw. Texans are playing in the 80's right now. Dominating ball possession is all they care about. But the league has changed now, you need a mobile QB and you need a QB who can throw the ball. We don't have that.

    Peace out.

Worst case scenario, i think we pick somewhere in the middle of the draft. That means no Bridgewater, Mariota, Boyd, Hundley or Manziel as they will be go to Jax, Bucs, Browns, Vikings, Raiders or Eagles.

The fanbase needs to get realistic about drafting or trading for a replacement: its not happening!

Let me introduce you to Anthony Barr.

2012 shifted from RB to OLB:
    82 tackles
21 tackles for loss (tied for 4th in the nation)
14 sacks (2nd in the nation)
    4 forced fumbles
    4 hurries
    5 passes defensed
    AP 2nd team All-America
    Pac-12 DPOY

23 tackles, eight tackles for loss -- including three sacks -- three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery in four games this season.

Top 5 talent, but will drop because of "QB rich" draft + QB poor teams. Absolute steal, if he drops out of the top ten.

Anthony Barr in a 3-4 is money. Next to Cushing? The league is on notice.

You don't need a mobile QB. You just need a good/great QB. Brady and Manning are not mobile. They are prototypical NFL QBs and they are awesome.

The past 2 Superbowl winners had statues playing QB. Rodgers won before that, he can move but he's hardly throwing on the run very often. Peyton Manning is the least mobile QB in the league and he's in control of a juggernaut. Mobility is overrated. The league isn't different. It's the same. There are a few more mobile QB's nowadays, they're not exactly elite.

Neither Brady or Manning are statues. They are capable of extending plays inside the pocket and picking defenses a part. Schaub is a statue, because he is incapable of making play inside or outside the pocket. Not too mention he rarely steps up into a dirty pocket to throw the ball. The guy is literally afraid of getting hit.

Manziel would be great. He is kind of raw at the moment, but he'll get where he needs to be.
