Schaub has no arm strength and cant hit sidelines to save his life.

I am not sure how people can sit there and say he give texans best chance to win when his arm is such trash.

is keenum really not that good? Is that the deal?

It's easy to look good against 2's and 3's in preseason. Aside from not turning the ball over, I don't think Yates looked that good on his few passes tonight and I doubt Keenum would look any better.

It's sad to say, but our best chance to win probably is with Schaub if they can get him back to way he was the first 3/4 of last year. Schaub playing well gives us our best chance to win. Yates playing well probably gives us just an OK chance, but probably not enough to make the playoffs. Same with Keenum. Schaub not playing well = losses, but if we stand little chance of making the playoffs with Yates as starter, it's probably worth it to keep playing Schaub and hope he pulls his head out of his ass.

Good Yates > Bad Schaub, but that's not good enough for what we need. Good Schaub gives us our best chance so we stick with him, gambling that he'll right himself, because he's really the only one who can get us to the playoffs. I'm pretty sure that's Kubiak's logic. That was it before the game. That's it after the game. If we get buried too far, then you might see more Yates. But if we're not out of Wild Card contention, expect to see Schaub.

For the record... Keo is better than Reed.

Anyways... so this is how it should be:

    Keenum: Starting QB
    TJ: Backup
    Schaub: Waterboy

    And... NSFW comment:

Kubiak & Bob: Suck my D.

It's better we save our brain cells for important things (Rockets) now and not ramble and have any hope for the Texans until leadership changes are done. Schaub is not the answer, and it's clearly extremely evident now. Goodnight guys. Hope everyone is okay.

Schaub sure says "we" a lot when talking about these losses. It's you, you noodle armed sorry excuse for a QB.

This is pretty much what Dungy said despite what people want to hear.

That Schaub gives us the best chance to win.

It is what it is though. If Schaub continues to stink it up then Texans get a good draft pick to add to a good team AND hopefully a new coach...so it's a win win situation for us (or should be.)

Either Schaub turns it around and redeems himself...or he continues his recent play (which dates back to last season...) and gets Kubiak fired and gets us a decent pick.

It's staggering how stupid the Texans were for overpaying this guy, but that's the penalty for having low expectations.

That kind of pisses me off too.

If there is ever a time for a player to take the blame it's time.

We should have been seen the "It's my fault" mess from Schaub.

At this point in time, if we had a chance to swap Schaub for the jobless Tim Tebow, would you do it?

In regards to schaub it comes down to whether or not you think the season is over yet.

I dont think the season is over for the texans just yet but its certainly not looking too good.

The problem with putting in keenum is that in many ways is throwing in the towel. you just dont know what you are going to get with keenum. The other half of that dilemma is that its pretty clear that we aren't going to be able to do it with schaub. So do you let the inevitable happen and let schaub get embarrassed or do you throw in the towel and put your balls on table with keenum?

    There is no right answer.

I would say that we are not going to win with schaub either way so I think unfortunately you have to make the tough decision if you want to salvage the season and our prospects for this year. That is unless keenum looks like crap in practice too. I would say going forward 50% of practice snaps go to keenum with 1st team.

Otherwise you keep schaub in there for now and see if he can pull out something of his ass these next few games. once its clear we are not going to make playoffs then cut schaub for once and for all and play keenum rest of year.

If our best chance to win is Schaub, then we have no chance. Why not start Yates or Keenum? We have nothing to lose. I don't see us beating the Pats or Broncos with Schaub at the helm. We have to start building for the future, our window is closed now, we are 5 years of rebuilding from being competitive again. Simply making the playoffs isn't competitive, dominating the league is. We will never dominate this league until Schaubs and Kubes are gone. So, if you are a real Houstonian for 30+ years like I am, you would agree that there is no reason to support this team until both of them are gone.

I don't want mediocrity. I don't want excuses. I want to win the SB every single year from now until the time im dead. If we don't have those type of people running our franchise then our franchise is garbage and I will not support it.

    Cheers.

I'm tired of that crap. He's well compensated. He had a couple of scoring chances tonight that a Hall of Famer should pull in.

can't wait for the defense to quit on this team.

kubiak even has the balls to call out the defense need fixing during halftime.

also, get rid of the "captain" label on schaub's jersey.
what kind of captain throw 4 pick 6 in a row?
