Go back and read the thread. I said he plays a part because he is the coach, but as someone else said in the same thread, Wade has more to do with the turnaround of the defense. Kubes makes a lot of bad decisions, but I have always liked him. But we have the talent on both sides of the ball and should be contenders. Top RB, WR, OT, DE, LB, best Defense
If they keep the OC as well (which usually happens) then no t much will change. You think Wade is going to clash with a OC? Then you know what will happen? Bob instead of having a whole new coaching search will give Wade his shot at it, especially if he finishes so-so with the season. Interim coaches sometimes get ANOTHER year to prove that they can handle the job. I'd rather just cut loose with Kubiak completely and even Wade. If you fire a coach might as well just start anew. The new guy likely will want to bring his own guys in there. I wouldn't mind if Wade stayed though...
Romo is essentially Schaub in terms of not having that right mindset. He's bound to make a mistake just like Schaub down the stretch. It's just Romo can move in the pocket better and throws better but all that doesn't mean nothing when you make a crucial mistake towards the end of the games.
I know we snickered and laughed about it when he was hired but now . . . I wonder what a interim Wade Phillips could do with this team Rocket River
No, there is no way, it's Schaub Yates or ............................................ Keenum way down the list. Best case scenario is Uncle Bob opens his eyes and shakes things up at the end of the year BIG NO to sonofbum Wade Phillips, Uncle Bob, if you did that I would find another team!!!

I swear Schaub and Kubiak get high before game time, because they don't care what happens out on the field
I've also said like 15 times this whole week that if Kubiak goes down with Schaub that's his decision. So I'm not abstaining him from blame at all.
Never said he didn't. I know that, but who did he develop. AJ, Watt, Cushing? He is the QB guru, but our QB sucks.
I agree with you on this point, if you fire Kubiak you clean house next year and spare no expense getting the best available staff.
