Whatever happened to Austin Miles. He played well one year and Cowgirl fans were comparing him to Andre Johnson and we haven't heard from Miles since.
People instantly assume dudes who get considered "once in a generation" type prospects are overhyped. It's just how it is. There were probably tons of people saying Lebron was overhyped back when he was in high school.
He's definitely overrated when people compare him to Manning...which a lot of people have. He's not close to what Manning has done. I still take Brees, Rogers, Brady, Manning ahead of him. He's not in that elite class yet. He can get there, but I'm not putting him in there until he has one of those MVP type seasons.
Jeebus, it's his 2nd year. Is the general consensus out there that he's already the best? I think most normal fans consider him the best of the young QBs, that's all.
Scouts analyze a college's player's game for how it transitions to the NFL. There was no scout in existence who hyped Tebow more than Luck in relation to the NFL game. Luck was prototypical NFL QB potential. Nobody said that about Tebow.

Maybe some fans, but there are certainly plenty of people who think he's the 2nd coming of Manning...which is like saying Wiggins is the 2nd coming of Lebron. Maybe he is, but he has to prove that first.
2nd coming does not equate to already as good as Manning. He is the best of the young QBs, but has a long way to go to reach that elite status.
just as i feared. the colts arent' going to be a pushover like many thought this year and Andrew Luck is only going to get better.
No one knows for sure if he will be better than manning. But so far he has done better than manning in the first two years.
