Kareem is butthurt that Dwight didn't want to train with him and pick Hakeem.....he's also a Laker at heart and he's pissed that Dwight left his team high and dry. Dwight is right...why is a HOF of Kareem's caliber still even fielding questions about Dwight? Don't you have better things to do lol.
Kareem has been a bitter old man for a while now. He was a failure as a coach himself. He's one of the greatest players to ever play but that absolutely means nothing when it comes to the respect his words deserve. Which is none. He's a jaded ex-girlfriend at this point simple as that. Dwight's response was perfect.
Kareem sounds like a douche. Hakeem is not. Who do you want to learn the post from? Dwight picked Hakeem to learn from and Kareem is butthurt. He is playing to Lakernation by saying Dwights potential has a shell life. Dwight has a lot of bulletin board material to get amped up for this season.
I know one thing. You'll never hear something like this come from Hakeem's mouth. I'm sure there are players he's worked with that he's probably thinking "This guy is just not going to be able to learn much from me." but you're never going to hear him say something like this.
I can't really recall Kareem ever having a good word for anybody. One of the best ever, but a born hater. He's got a right to his opinion, and maybe he's got a point. But he's also a bit of an *******, so take it with a grain of salt.
Great response by dwight. I think this criticism will be good for him, help him even i prove his bbal iq.
Yes Kareem was in Bruce Lee's movie. But Jackie Chan hasn't retired, Dwight still has the opportunity to play a role in Jackie's movie? Rush Hour 5 in Houston?
