Should I finish the single player game before playing online? Will it have spoilers for the regular game?
Online takes place before single player, but you won't recognize the characters you meet if you play online first.
I tried again 4 times tonight to get online...still a no go. I walk to the circle to start a race, a car pulls up and a dude steps out, then it goes into loading mode and never gets out of that.
Yeah, it's BS. There are things you can do to mitigate it. For one, you can activate "passive mode" for $100, which will make you invulnerable to bullets, but won't save you from getting run over when you're on foot. You can also set it so that people can't jack your car (make it always locked). Also, looks like there are options for kicking people, I haven't played around with that, I'm assuming you need multiple votes from different people in the same game...
Me and my friend got kicked by another guy cause we trashed his car. But only because he killed us first.
Argh. I've just discovered that the new patch makes it so that you can't replay missions. Apparently they did it so that everyone would stop just grinding the mission Violent Duct for easy cash. I'm sure it factored in that Rockstar is selling virtual GTA money for real money, so they want it to be scarce. I'm honestly a lot less interested in the online mode now. There are so many other games I could be playing, if I can't get some fast money to buy some of things I want, it's just too much of a time suck for me.
In 50 yrs from now kids are going to say, what does granddad mean he had online problems playing GTA in the first week of release, what does "online" even mean? I can't imagine what it was like before just having the Matrix.
Someone start an Xbox clutchfans crew. I tried, but social Club kept asking me to verify when I did a million times already.
the social club is so glitchy. The ifruit app isn't any better. You literally have to roll with some people online people just bombard you if you are alone.
Ive been robbing stores left and right. So easy to ditch the cops. I get like 500-1000 dollars per hold up
Strip club, gas station (either inside or out), but the best way is to use your phone, go on the Internet, and use maze bank. Go to the money tab on the Internet.
