i think the key factor here is drew bledsoe..

MS was a backup, at some point you have to take a risk. the worst thing someone can have in this league is job security.. right now schaub knows his job isnt in jeopardy..

If we cut Keenum tomorrow to make room for a lineman, safety, whatever, I wouldn't care.

Did you watch all his preseason performances? I don't know if he made ever conceivable NFL throw, but he made a ton of excellent passes. Those TD passes to Jean were textbook, dropped into his hands.

    This ^^^

Along with the caveat that Case will likely get better as the seaso progresses...just
like the defense and offensive line. This obviously bodes well for the future
AND THIS YEAR. Some folks (in, luding the front office) might be ready to wait too long while going with Schaub even longer, THEN Yates, and FINALLY CASE. This is a fatal strategy and a classic CASE of being asleep at the wheel. Wake up Bob andi recognize what needs to be done to max out the rest of our window...And that includes this year, damnit.

Schaub is the worse thing that happened to Houston sports, next is CSN.

I have been a big pro-Schaub guy ever since people started doubting him. However, he is making it more difficult to explain why he should still start. Now, the only defense that I can give is that I still believe that he is/should still start because he is still the best QB on the roster. I don't think that the Texans are in a position to make a gamble YET.

I still believe that this team will make the playoffs, but if they do not, then changes should start being made at QB and HC. I do not think that the "QB of the future" is on this team at the moment.

schaub is terrible but it's a joke that all of you UH homers think case keenum is the answer, I've seen comparisons of case keenum to drew brees LMAO. All Brees has in keenum is that they're small er QB's. Drew Brees was a second round pick and could've been a first rounder, keenum was passed over in all 7 rounds lol

We need to play case or tj, not because they're better than schaub but because we need a top 10 pick so we can grab one of:

    1.teddy bridgewater
    2.tajh boyd
    3.Johnny Manziel

if we fall into the 22+ range we're gonna end up with options like

1.zach mettenberger(who looks like a beast this year)
    2.stephen morris
3.aaron murray( great player, but always makes the tony romo bad play at the wrong time)

If we decide to draft a qb in the 2nd round and beyond

    4.AJ Mccarron
    5.Derek Carr
    6.Logan Thomas

Logan Thomas intrigues me alot, he has tons of potential and huge arm and probably was a top 10 pick before he crapped the bed recently.
