I really like how smart he is. He has the first down, turns and dives. It makes him a high catch receiver and minimizes injury and fatigue. Why try to get a couple extra yards and plow into a bunch of dbacks who are gunning for you?

He's always been a stud, it just usually has been issues with his health or the play calling that has limited him. That STILL is what we are facing today.

Kubiak and Schaub don't deserve Andre

Depends on if this team doesn't run him into the ground with all these passes making get all his yards within 10 to 15 yards of scrimmage.

    We can hope.

Damn! The over/under before the Schaub bashing started was at post #5 and I took the under.

It's not his fault that he doesn't have more TD's.

Schaub only bashers are usually the guy whose greatest personal athletic achievement was when they passed for a first down against a team comprised of their sister and her female friends. The skill it tool to get that first down is the recipe for an elite QB.

Crazy thing is he had 8 in 9 games. Which brings another point.... health.

Guys, can we please keep the QB out of this thread?

If he didn't have injury problems, there is a high chance that we would of seen seven consecutive 1500 yard seasons from AJ (including this season), if he continued his normal production for the season. Hell, last game he lit up Sherman for 110 yards, something other "elite" receivers have not been able to do. He still has it.

Easily: he routes are a work of art. He can still make the athletic play (as seen against the Titans), but a lot of his production is due to his attention to detail and being an excellent student of the game.

On a side note, his lack of TD's is not because of his talent, but rather the playcalling featuring the RB and TE in the redzone.

No, when discussing Andre's body of work, it is imperative that the lack of quality
QB's, playcalling, and bad offensive lines are highlighted. His numbers and reputation would be greatly increased.

Too had Andre wasted his career on the Texans. He might never get a chance to even play in a super bowl.

I hope he gets traded to a contender in the twilight of his career.

Douschers gonna dousche.. Your shtick is tired...At least show some originality.

I have always wondered why AJ isn't targeted more in the red zone. Only knock on his HOF career is TDs. Hopefully at least 5 more years in front of him though
