CAMPING AWW YEA!

The weekend of the 18. Up in the piney woods .

 

i went camping last weekend and ate a heroic dose of mushrooms for the first time in about a decade. it was pretty awesome!

 

Brazos Bend State Park. Every December

 

Man I think I could use some time in the outdoors, but we just welcomed a new baby into the fold. Gonna have to wait to the Spring.

 

Guadalupe River SP in mid-Nov. Maybe sneak one in sometime before that but it's not looking good.

 

Roadtripping to Big Bend and Grand Canyon next week.

Tent pitching is mah faves....

 

Got back from camping last week in Peru on the Inca Trail. This was my view from the second campsite.

 

camped 2 weeks ago at Lake Ray Roberts with my daughters Indian Princess troop - going to Lake Whitney on Oct. 23rd with her troop again.

 

Need a clean bathroom. No camping for me.

 

Both just this past spring. Both are great. Fall is the best time to hit Huntsville because the pollen is quite bad in the Spring.only thing I didn't like was the lack of an actual tent pad. It was very nice otherwise.

McKinney is cool because, other than the planes, you don't realize how close to the city you really are. The falls are fun to hang out in...but watch your step, it's slippery.

 

This was a 5 minute walk 1 morning in one of my fields last year...



The cool weather's here and good times will abound.
