Rockets Tailgate on Friday -- Harden, Parsons, Beverley, Canaan will be there

    I know how many people feel about CSN the channel, but if you could keep the rants to the other thread I'd appreciate it.

    Saw this press release -- it's a good opportunity for fans to see (maybe meet?) the players up close. Reason I say that is I went to the outdoor show they did around the All-Star break and you're right up there with the guests. It's a pretty cool setting.

    Harden, Parsons, Beverley, Canaan and Calvin Murphy will all be there.

    I thought the law changed for open container downtown since the new law passed? Dynamo wanted tailgating.

    I went! Hot, smelly (seriously, the number of smelly people was ridiculous), and I was stupid for wearing heels today, but still worth it.

    A few Rowdies do it frequently. Sometimes near that park, other times they open the trunk of their car. We have plans to step up our tailgating this season

    One of the bummers about living in Austin. Good thing you moved back to Houston some years back, Clutch. I miss out on these things.

    Pretty small crowd, tbh. I don't think they advertised it as much as they should have.

    Forgot to mention that Damon Jones was there too, wearing hideous cow-print shoes. LOL.

    Hilltopper, if you edit the embedded code to autoPlay=false, then we'll have the option to play the CSN video ourselves.

    It was actually a very small crowd, I was able to get autographs from and pictures with all involved except Harden.. he left sooner than I thought he would. Very fun though to see the players up close!
