You can't keep 4 QBs and you aren't cutting Schaub, so I'm assuming people are wanting them to cut one of the 2 QBs that played so well in camp and preseason to bring on a guy that's been benched and cut?

So he can be the new backup or 3rd stringer.

 

Kubiak can't/wont be able to teach him the offense fast enough for him to entertain the idea.

By picking him up Texans would admit need,
so imo they will stay pat and keep serving that Battle Red Kool Aid.

 

This place would go crazy if the Texans cut Case for Freeman. Even though I think Freeman is better than any QB on our team right now.

Cut Keenum. Not because I dislike him or because I like Freeman, but because I just want to see the Coog fans collectively fall in faint.

He has proved he is a cancer in the locker room. McNair would not touch him. We don't need him and it won't help us any.

 

I doubt he makes it past the Vikings, Raiders, Rams, and Jaguars to even make it to us in the waiver order. And even if he did, picking him up right now would be pretty pointless. Maybe give him a call in the offseason, but otherwise, let some other sad-sack team pay out the end of his deal and let him audition for a new gig on their time and dime.
