Jones really impressed me last season when he saw minutes. He doesn't seem to have any real weaknesses in his game other than lacking a consistent motor. I hope he figures it out.

That's what I like about Jones, your not gonna catch him sleeping... He is going to work hard no matter how dark the road ahead of him is. He will always step up his game....

It's TJ's position to lose, he is so versatile. Right now, if he could just hold down the fort defending the power forward position he'll be a great fit in the starting lineup.

DMo put on a good bit of muscle so it should be some healthy competition for the 4 spot

Give a homeless guy a little nudge and reporters hound you the rest of your life.

    Ridiculous.

He doesn't have a jumper. He needs a lot of work on his post game,to make the transition to a NBA 4.

His post defense is horrid. If he can bulk up a bit, that shouldn't be a big problem.

Every rookies post defense is horrible except for guys like Dream and Duncan.

Plain and simple Jones is undersized. He's a tweener, really. It's not technique, but height and size. Jones is only 6'9". Guys shoot over him.

Also it's not that he can't shoot the three, he just doesn't. He seems much more comfortable in a Dwight role of getting the offensive board and putback, namely, hanging out around the basket. On the other hand we have DMo is trigger happy.

Because we got a full season of his work and know what he can do. TJ is still an unknown.

I agree Jones doesn't really have glaring weaknesses. With him being a young big, you're more looking at his potential a few years down the line. He won't be a top PF in the NBA, but he could be the "Chandler Parsons" of our front court. A guy that's great at nothing, but good at everything.

He has the potential to play bigger than just another tweener. A guy like Morris was a better example of a true tweener. He could stretch the floor and knocked down some threes, but that was it. Both he and Patterson weren't physically capable of protecting the rim like Jones can from the PF, which is obviously a huge difference.

Not all about height. Dwight obviously has more bulk and strength.

I'm anxious to see how Terrence has upped his game. Two things I'm looking for:

    1) No hesitation. Last year, he seemed to think about what to do AFTER he got the ball. This wrecked the flow and allowed the D to reset.

    2) Dribbling. Maybe it's just me, but I don't want Terrence Jones penetrating the paint from the 3PT line anymore. I'd rather him feature his great strength, quickness & athleticism utilized down low, especially now with all the attn Dwight will garner. I know Terrence used to be a PG, but he'll be more successful modeling after Kevin Love than Lamar Odom.

Hope he worked on that 15-18ft jumpshot.

He sidestepped the questions? This guy never has any clue of what he's talking about.

    He obviously euro-stepped the questions
