    I was hoping for Cleveland to have some success because that city needs something to cheer about. But they got outplayed and left too many men on base.

    They have the Browns and they are doing good now, winning 3 games in a row since the Trent Richardson trade. That is definitely something to cheer about.

    Scherzer is dealing! 1 hit through 6 innings with 10 strikeouts... I am a Jed Lowrie fan but otherwise have nothing invested in the series. It's an interesting matchup from the perspective of the Athletics having great RPs and the Tigers having great SPs.

    Thanks! I met him a few times when he was here. He was always very friendly.

    In other news--the umpires blew another call on that Sox SB. The umpires are not showing up.

    The A's are amazing. I look at that lineup...I look at the Tigers...and I can't believe the A's are doing what they're doing.

    I think Reddick may have caught the ball, but it was behind the yellow line which means it's not fan interference.
