Nice read because I am excited about the season, but it doesn't give a whole lot of insight other than what is commonly already known.

I think this is going to be an on-going storyline for the Rockets this season. Hopefully it doesn't cause friction between Dwight and the perimeter guys.

I am not worry about anyone but harden. he had the ball most in the last season. being the man is the main reason he came to rox. let's see.

    I don't think this deserves a thread.

Passing into the post is not an easy task, Robert Horry got good at it, so did Mario, but some people struggle with it - fortunately Dwight has great hands, so you don't have a small window like Yao.

but it does contain this tidbit:

Reminds me of how great Hakeem was, the guy with the whole package: the best hands, the best moves, and the best athleticism (and a good free throw shooter for a big).

Keep in mind that if we are successful (and we will be) we are going to be gathering a large number of fans very new to basketball. Somebody is going to have to explain stuff, and it will be nice if some of that explaining happens before they arrive here.

yao had some beatuiful moves...but it was sometimes excruciating to watch him try to position and balance himself to a deep spot to get the pass --- that is where dwight excels

hakeem was just on a different level.

Why fight to establish position when you are later going to get stripped of the ball?

Good luck fronting this center! Just lob it to the rim and enjoy the show. Poor Yao.

Yao's move was beautiful when he didn't fall down, get stripped or fronted

we should also get chandler the ball in the post as well

he is long for a SF and can do some damage down low

Carrol Dawson taught Yao those moves. I actually think what CD teaches is more relevent than what the Dream teaches, more fundamental and less reliant on unworldly skill and athleticism that Hakeem possessed.
