I hope Schaub regains his confidence, and that our O-line can pull a miracle to protect him. Once he feels safe, he becomes very good.
Harbough is looking forward to seeing Schaub Sunday evening.. Oh well, get em Texans. Note to Kubiack, Run the Ball!
Hopefully the Texans make some changes to the plays / calling. No more of the predictable short passes.....
Not sure this is the week this team begins to right the ship,(Though I believe they will) but I'll try an stay positive. Texans in a close one 27-24 My hope is, the early adversity will strengthen the team late.
As a 49ers fan, I think Houston wins this game. The Niners have not been impressive on D this year, and I think AJ and Daniels will shred them in the passing game. Our best pass rusher, Aldon Smith, is being replaced by a rookie in Cory Lemonier. Coverage has been spotty too with Tarrell Brown drawing constant holding and PI calls. The Niners offense hasn't really found a rhythm this season with Crabtree out and Vernon Davis playing at about 75%. The only reliable receiving threat is Anquan Boldin - shut him down and there's nothing else. Also when you look at Kaepernick's release point, it's very low so JJ Watt will likely have several batted passes. I don't expect Gore to run at will on Cushing and Watt and co like he did against the Rams last Thursday. I'm picking the Texans to win 31-13.
^Makes me feel better. I feel like we can and will win this game as well. Shoulda coulda woulda in week 4. Time to move on.
Nope, you guys got this. Just apply pressure and the Texans pass game is shut down. Offensively, just have Kaepernick run around in circles early and often.
Well Houston should have beat Seattle, and we weren't even competitive against them. So there's that. Also Patrick Willis is still questionable - his backup is a career special teamer in Dan Skuta - so Foster might get his yards.
Disagree - getting pressure is going to be tough without Aldon Smith. And Harbaugh doesn't let Kaep run anymore this year since the new rule changes that make hits on the QB fair game when running the read option. The backup QB situation is bad - Colt.
Matt Schaub needs a statement game. Sunday night on NBC will be the perfect time to shut up a bunch of critics. Though he's not my ideal QB, he's a Texans QB so I'll support him through thick and thin (its been a bit tricky recently).
Who takes it back? [ ] Eric Reid [ ] Donte Whitner [ ] Tarrell Brown [ ] Carlos Rogers [ ] Nnamdi Asomugha [ ] Dan Skuta [ ] Ahmad Brooks [ ] NaVorro Bowman [ ] Patrick Willis [ ] linemen
I believe they turn it around starting this Sunday. It'll be a big win.... My buddies and I are going back to what we did every game through week 11 last week, before I went over seas.... Pre-game music / grilling / Texans videos on Youtube etc.....haven't grilled yet this season. Did a little bit of grilling for week one. Like the Bud light commercial.....it's only weird if it doesn't work.
