He shouldn't return even when he's 100%. He might get re injured. Wait til next season. Make sure he can dunk off one foot, etc
Probably should take 2 years. Makes sure regains every muscle memory. Makes sure he can not only get past one guy, but 2.

He could have if he/thunder didn't care about his long term success. There are different types of surgeries they can use to fix the issue. They went with the slow fix.
Some of the older guys choose to have bits removed, which brings it down to a few weeks. He chose to have it repaired, which takes much longer. That being said, having it removed can lead to Brandon Roy knees
