So says the guy that supports a plan that intentionally balloons deficits. So far, nothing you've predicted has been right. Thanks to lower than projected premiums - and thus lower subsidies - the Obama plan is coming in at a lower cost than originally projected, and it was already projected to be deficit neutral.

So to recap, you think Obamacare is going to HELP the deficit? And you base this off of projections before it's even begun? Your problem is you fall for what the media feeds you. I urge you to think for yourself and use some common sense checks and challenges.

Would this get me to support a plan that balloons the deficit while not addressing any of the problems that our health care system has, as you support? Or was that a result of you googling "GOP health care plan" and posting that you support it?

You will pay bigtexx. You personally. So get out your checkbook and bend over.

    It's called the bigtexx clause.

In the long run, I'm sure I will pay. This is the first new entitlement program in a looooong time. And once you start an entitlement program, you cannot stop it. Just look at our spending today on social security and medicare. It's out of control and impossible to stop.

you were paying anyways for no good reason to treat the uninsured in emergency rooms, but if you want to let them die, that can work as well I suppose. Or, you know, get them insurance. Or better yet, single-payer!

So you admit that there are plenty of additional options that are better than Obamacare. That's a good first step for you.

one of the options cited was Obamacare, the other is something that will come because of Obamacare.

I'll let you ruminate over what you mean by taking the option "letting the uninsured die" and placing it in a category of "plenty of additional options that are better than Obamacare."

You have precisely condensed the GOP position on healthcare: if we're going to pay for poor people, let's pay a lot and in the most inefficient manner possible.

It's kind of how they deal with defense spending.

Multiple Republicans are signaling they are done with this nonsense, with one calling his fellow GOPers "lemmings with suicide vests". It's now unclear that the latest GOP proposal has enough votes to even pass.

Meanwhile, the Senate plan will pass overwhelmingly - but the speaker simply won't bring it up for a vote.

The moderate Republicans are turning on their crazies. Let's hope they prevail for the sake of the country.

Moderate House Republicans working to line up votes on their own plan

    http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.co...s-working-to-line-up-votes-on-their-own-plan/

Washington (CNN) - Moderate House Republicans who want to fund the government with no strings attached are working to line up votes against a House GOP plan to renew federal coffers while chipping away at Obamacare, multiple GOP sources involved in the effort tell CNN.

Rep. Charlie Dent, R-Pennsylvania, Rep. Peter King, R-New York, and others are feverishly making calls to stage what would effectively be a revolt.

They say they are hoping there are enough GOP members like them who are fed up with the tactics of the leadership that they can find enough votes to defeat the first procedural measure, known as the rule.

That would prevent the House GOP leadership from even bringing their plan up at all.

Given the makeup of the GOP caucus, these House Republican moderates would need in the ballpark of 20 Republicans to agree to defy their leadership, and be willing to face what will undoubtedly be the wrath of the conservative grassroots.

Boehner could end all of this right now with a clean vote on the senate bill. We all know it would pass.

    Even Boehner

Of course that would end his speakership

Reid can end it with the common sense delay of Obamacare

Let's just attach anything to the budget and the function of government itself so we can kill it because we didn't have the votes to stop it in the first place. Makes sense.

So you think a law that was passed by congress,
    signed by the president,
    upheld by the supreme court,
confirmed by the re-election of the president,

wasn't based on common sense? fascinating

I would hazard to say common sense would dictate that the country has made the conclusion that we want the law.

But please. along with the crazies of the republican house, continue with your meltdown.
