True. The 2-3 years to develop point was mixed with the potential of Kubiak being too loyal to Schaub and sticking with him over whatever young QB we would get.

Lol oh i did, the young QB's winning was a thing of beauty but, i also think it was just luck that so many first and second year guys were great. For every Wilson, Luck, Kaep there is a Leaf, Quinn, Leinart, Young, Russell. The Texans would be every bit the situation that the 49ers, Colts and Seahawks were to Kaep, Luck and Wilson but, that's not happening this year. Its gonna take the head coach, FO and owner to realize Schaub isn't the guy(some fans have known this for years)....how long will that take?

I have always said Schaub hasn't shown or proven he's the guy to take us to a ship. I believe he isn't the guy. I also believe we do not have the guy on our roster. I'd honestly like to take a chance on young Josh Freeman.

so your answer to solving our QB issues is to sign a guy who just got benched for sucking on his own team?

I am still amazed that Marciano continues to have a job. In addition to the horrible penalty on Pleasant on the winning drive; that negated Lechner's punt that would have pinned inside the 10, and on the re-kick, the Seahawks ended up on the 31, meaning a net 24 on the penalty, but also opening up their playbook with a change from deep in their own territory to reasonably good field position. But Pleasant had another awful penalty earlier in the game. And there was even a special team situation when there were only 10 players on the team (there was no return at the time, so it didn't hurt the team, but what the heck!!).

While Pleasant will probably be cut... the mistakes of ST didn't start with him, nor will they end with him. Seeing our return specialists leave here and star elsewhere is just salt in the wound known as Marciano.

I dont blame Freeman for the Bucs losing those games. I mean honestly we are in win now mode, and developing any new QB who isn't seasoned and ready to win would be a major risk. But Freeman has more experience than Yates and Keenum.

Something has to change as far as Kubiak and Shaub. After eight years it's not working and the league has figured you out and Kubiak continues not to make adjustments on offense. No more excuses left. I can't believe we just might miss the playoffs with this roster and all the expectations this year. Just a shame, smh.
