Well damn, call me nostradamus. Just remembered I wrote this earlier this week lol, never wanted it to come true though.

"Fans are going to be fans," Johnson said, via ESPN.com. "You have some that are loyal. You have some that are fair-weather, and they only come around when you win. I've been here when it was 2-14 and there was hardly anybody in the stands, so I really don't care about what fans think. A lot of them don't understand what players go through. They can talk about what they want to talk about."[/rQUOTEr]
Maybe in first half but the commentators were not treating him kindly in the second half. In fact I thought they were as critical of him as I've ever heard.
Stopped forward progress Pulled him several yards backwards Lift and slam That's an automatic call, every single time, in every single stadium. I don't get how anyone could consider that call BS. If it were a lift and slam as the guy was coming downfield and meeting KJ, okay. But as it was, that was idiotic on Jackson's part.
I'm not saying the Kareem call was be, just sucks. Going against a bigger guy, and probably couldn't hear the whistle. Man this loss stings.
The ref was right next to him... if he didn't "hear" the whistle, it falls right in line with his selective bad habits that will probably never go away (doesn't have the instinct to turn his head on long passes, constantly attempts to go helmet-to-helmet... sometimes knocking out his own guy, and likes to body-slam people for no reason). I didn't really care all that much because at that point, the game had to end. Even with a stop, I had zero faith the offense would be able to move the ball against a determined Seattle defense that had saw enough of the Texans offense to make adjustments and be able to recognize plays/tendencies/anticipate passes more and more as the game went on.
I lied. I'm not over it. I'm tired, sad, frustrated on this Monday morning. We get so emotionally invested in our teams and their games. There's no way we can win a title with Schaub.
The moment I saw Brooks Reed sucking down that oxygen with that crazy ass look on his face, I knew it would be here. Thanks for not letting me down, Clutchfans!
You know what else is an automatic call, every single time, in every single stadium? When a defensive lineman gives a blatant blow to the head of the opposing QB, as a Seattle lineman did to Schaub when the Texans were on the Seattle 44 in the last minute of regulation. Spoiler Frustrated as I was, I let it go because I assumed the logic would be consistent throughout -- that officials would be reluctant to decide the game based on an arbitrary "personal foul". As it turned out, though, they were perfectly happy to do it on the other side. The Jackson call is complete BS when you consider the context of the blow to the head that was overlooked just minutes earlier.
Yeah. Schaub took some blows to the head late in the game. Should have been flagged. We've been flashed for it every time. Damn. I want the memory of this game to go away.
Look at the picture in Rodman23's post of Reed getting oxygen. His eyes went crazy. It was humorous. Reed made one nice play yesterday...I forgot he was on the team, otherwise. "Oh, yeah...Brooks Reed!"
Schaub on radio "it's on me". "the way things have gone I've hurt the team, got done texts from teammates supporting me." 610 asked about another pick six :"just a bad decision, I should have just thrown it away to let the defense work. "
Has nothing to do with the whistle...picking up and slamming someone is illegal and will be called for unnecessary roughness every single time.
Sr610: if kubiak says we're going with Yates this Sunday.... Schaub : "we've got to regroup and get ready for the niners on Sunday, I'm not going to even entertain that question."
