What incentive does Walt have to save Jesse? He blames Jesse in part for Hank's death. If Jesse hadn't turned rat, Hank wouldn't have lured Walt into the desert and Jack and Co. wouldn't have killed him. And if Hank doesn't die, then Walt doesn't lose his family. He doesn't disappear to New Hampshire. He doesn't lose all his money. Jesse snitching led to all of that. That's why Walt didn't save him when he had the chance and gave him back to the Nazi's. What's changed that Walt would now want to save him?

Really? The guy that had 8 men murdered in prison? Who killed Mike over a list when he could have gotten the list from Lydia? Who put his family in jeopardy when he could have taken the Schwartz' job offer (which I'm guessing would have been for at least $100,000 a year)? You hope that guy lives? OK.
For me, I don't think I will feel satisfied unless Walt dies. He's going to die of cancer anyway. Even if you're a Walt supporter, would you rather him go out with a whimper or with a bang? I definitely want the Bang.
I agree. If Walt truly cared about his family, he would have taken the job offer. It's not as if Elliott was being condescending to him- he seemed to be genuine in saying that they could definitely use someone with Walt's background. Now, maybe he still had feelings for Gretchen and that caused him to pause- but he's got a huge hangup about taking charity, so who knows? Even if it weren't that, he's done enough bad things to warrant people not rooting for him at this point. But it's fiction, so it doesn't matter. If he survives, so be it. Sometimes, the bad guys don't die.
