Exactly. He was playing well all game. Play action was not the way to go for that play. And even if we did choose to do a PA, he should have just thrown it away. At least, the defense will get a chance to be able to stop them like they did all game.

I have a problem with that PA call because in a PA you also run backwards more than regular snaps. Plus Schaub isn't mobile so any type of pressure gets him to make stupid decisions as seen in that play.

Sure I blame schaub more than kubiak but i just hate his play calling at times.

if we're grading 1/4 season, I'd give us a c---. This throwing a pick six every game has got to stop, I've never seen anything like it, except rivers last season. But I think he only threw four pick sixs the whole year, not in a row.

Denver Broncos or Kansas Chiefs winning the Super Bowl this year.

    WE aren't making the playoffs.

Forget arm strength. What makes me frustrated is that he is not mobile. I'd rather have a guy that is mobile than a guy who has great arm strength. At least a mobile qb can make plays with his feet when there is nothing there and avoid sacks and pressure.

Schaub can throw the ball pretty nice. He made great play all game but as soon as the pressure gets to him, he stumbles and makes bad decisions. He doesn't have the foot work to avoid sacks like Brady and Manning do. He doesn't know how to keep plays alive. Honestly, There are many many Qbs that are better than him in terms of taking care of the ball. The team needs a QB that can take care of the ball rather than a guy who can score TDs.

Rivers doesn't have that much offensive talent as Schaub has now.

SMH. We are making the playoffs. We have 4 more "elite" teams to play. We can go 2-2 against them and then we play at least 7 crap/average teams. We should make the playoffs.

They struggled mightily against 2 mediocre teams already. Those are far from auto-wins.

very little to do with talent, just bad decision making. And for whatever reason, once you have been bitten by the turnover bug it's hard to shake it off. Hope that's not the case as their is still 12 games remaining.

    but i'd be lying if i said i wasn't a little concerned.

I may not watch anymore of the Texans until Schaub is benched. I don't care if it's Yates or Keenum who gets the nod. I feel bad for Andre Johnson and the other WRs and TEs...it must suck to play with a QB who's muscle-less arm and low-IQ decision making constantly lets you and the entire team and the fans down.

San Francisco's defense is probably salivating right now for next Sunday's game. Must be a nice feeling to have delicious footballs gifted to you with a pretty bow on top.

And what if Keenum is the answer? I'm not saying he is. For all we know, he could be a bust, but the Texans must know what he's got before they draft another QB.

Did DreamShook just call into the radio station? :p

"Is Hopkins always doubled team because Schaub only throws to Andre."

I said before the season that the Texans might start 2-3. They've lost to the Ravens and Seahawks, play the 49ers next week, and still have to play the Broncos, Patriots, Chiefs, and Colts twice. That's six more tough games, five if you think the Texans will beat the Colts at home. Five games they could easily lose. That's seven losses, for a battle fighting 9-7 record.
