There was a time not terribly long ago that Democrats won just about every election in Texas. Politics is a pendulum, and when it swings one way inTexas, it will swing the other somewhere else.

Delaying obamacare which the entire health care industry and states and the federal government have worked on for years is terrorism.
The democrats ramrodding it down the American public's throats on a straight party line vote is what is criminal. It's a terrible health care plan. The time is now for common sense, responsible discussions around how to get rid of Obamacare and put something better in its place.
Political parties are a lot less about their philosophy than their geographic, religious or socioeconomic target audience. This is a little more apparent outside of Europe and US where there aren't think tanks and media creating philosophical and informational/statistical pretext for each social group's advantages or interests.
all the votes tonight in the House passed with bipartisan support Obama already delayed parts of the bill unilaterally, this would just extend that delay to the rest of the bill. Why should corporations get a delay but not individual citizens? But hey, terrorism and hostages and stuff (remember all that scolding of the GOP for using violent rhetoric?)
Agreed. However, it is up to the Republicans to put forth a reasonable alternative. The lack of such ideas is what has disappointed me.
