For the most part, football is all about out-scoring your opponent now. It's a change I can't say I enjoy as much, but that's just how it is now.
Dumb move for Arkansas to go for a two-point conversion. Now a TD and PAT would put them up only two.
Gotta wonder what A&M is going to look like once Manziel is gone. He covers up so much flaws for them. The biggest one being the fact that Sumlin clearly cannot field a defense.
Oregon's Byron Marshall has fumbled 3 times in 4 touches and also dropped a clean pass in the first 3 1/2 minutes. Cal didn't recover any of them. Time for Thomas Tyner.
Can't field a college defense and he's gonna head to the NFL!? And we thought Chip Kelly/Eagles had problems.
Just Googled Tyner and discovered that he once rushed for 644 yards and 10 TDs in a single game in HS. Jeezus.
On the other hand, Cal has fumbled twice and Oregon recovered both of them. Oregon's receivers have dropped passes and their holder lost control on their first PAT. Game is only 6 minutes old. It's like the ball is greased.
A&M's next opponent is Ole Miss, on the road. A&M will be favored, but their defense is so bad that I think Ole Miss will have a decent shot.
Oregon better not choke again, I want to see them take a shot in the NC game once more against Alabama.
Manziel has made it pretty obvious that he will be leaving.. I'm interested to see if Mike Evans leaves too. If so, alot of talent will be gone. Malena, Manziel, Evans, Steven Jenkins, Floyd Raven Sr, Jake Matthews, Derel Walker. Makes me wonder if Sumlin is actually gonna stay considering how bad the D is.
