    Schaub can have a great game, but that does not make him elite, or a leader of men, or someone that you can rely on in big moments.

    People can make excuses for him all night long, it doesn't change anything, the guy is a decent to good QB, but is not someone that is a game changer, someone that teams will prepare for, or worry about.

    He is a decent QB, but this elite nonsense needs to stop - it just makes me cringe every time I see someone try to defend that stance - makes me think we have a bunch of folks willing to settle instead of demanding excellence.

    Houston can win it all, but it will not be because Matt led them anywhere, rather he will be just a guy on the team that was the QB.

    he's a glorified back up qb just like his head coach.

    no he's not elite.

    Although the schaub apologist will prove you wrong by saying he is a pro bowl mvp legend.

    schaub at best is a stop gap type qb that gets you from retiring great to your stud rookie.. he should have never been an nfl starter for this long..

    absolutely agree.

    look at all the qbs we could have had instead of suffering through the schaub era.

    We could have had a legit franchise qb by now instead we are wasting years and loaded roster on a bad quarterback.

    It might take another injury to him for Kubiak to find a better option.
