[Video Game] Grand Theft Auto V

Finished the main storyline last night.

I went for "Death wish" because I didn't want to kill off any of the characters. Trevor really grew on me after hating him at the start of the game and I didn't think Michael deserved to die. Plus, it didn't make sense for Franklin to do more dirty work for the guy who wouldn't even pay him for the cars. After watching the alternative endings on YouTube, I feel like I made the right decision.

Now on the play the stocks after the Lester assassinations.

That was what I thought at first, but love the idea now. Once you try it, it will grow on you.

 

so i beat the game and i was thinking i wish i saved lesters missions so i could play the stocks with the high payout at the end of the last mission. then i thought, i have 45 million dollars why do i need 100 million.. i can buy any car i want, get any upgrades, i bought a few businesses i dont play as michael much so im not going to buy the movies or golf course. after completion its pretty much a free run i think im fine with the big heist payout..

 

Owning properties is weird. The return on investment isn't very good. Somebody did the math and said it would take 6 months of real world 24/7 playing for you to recoup your initial investment if you bought the golf course.

Now, some properties open up side missions and that's cool. And some have perks like if you own the cab company then you get free taxi service and if you buy LS Customs you get free car upgrades and if you own the scrap yard then you get $150 for every car that's destroyed. But there's just no point for a lot them.

 

Things I've done:

1. Stabbed a shark
2. Towed a police car that was chasing me
3. Lit a fire with my exhaust fumes

 

Did you hide from the cops in bushes too?

only for that one location that just so happens to be on the opposite side of the map..

 

This game is so money.. But I feel royally screwed, this game overheats my xbox in 45minutes or so.. completely shuts off.. I even put a fan up to it.. Why release a game that people will buy if it does't work on half of the systems?!

 

Do you have the original white Xbox? That's what I have and I have the same problem, but I have a portable air conditioner I. My room and I just point that on my xbox and it's fine then. Room has to be below 82° with good airflow for it to not to overheat. Seriously can't wait for the new consoles..

 

Played for about 7 hours straight today on my first gen ps3. No problems. /endtrollingflamewar

 

Iv started a new game so i can save lesters missions, just going to do the storyline missions as quick as possible.

Speaking of original white, I can't believe mine is still running. I've had that bad boy since 06, and not one problem. Besides it being louder than a damn jet engine, it's been pretty swell these past 7 years. End of an era if I must say
