    Start him in preseason though....to take a look

    but never start him in the season unless he really breaks out but only for limited minutes

    At least he followed up on that last shot and slammed it in. Could of tied the game if he drew a bit more contact

    I imagine he will be cut. But it makes me sad. Would rather dump of other guys before him, but we don't really need development players at this point.

    Nice stroke from deep, but unfortunately Covington will likely get cut.

    Can't cut Casspi after that first exhibition game.

    Brooks played terribly but he's still the #3 pg. No way Canaan gets #3 honors.

    Only other options are Greg Smith and Brewer. Camby can rim protect (and lead and coach) so he stays. Covington is nowhere near ready for prime time, shot notwithstanding. It's not like the Rockets are in rebuilding mode.

    Covington will start in the season alright. For the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
