It's sad, I cringe every time I see 'High-School' football on any channel. I guess that's another thread though...

WTF....what's wrong with them? I did like how Coach handled his interview today. I think he is really growing on me, albeit slowly. I also loved how he said that how much the Dwight/Omer combo plays will depend entirely on them and how successful they are at playing together. That's really ALL that you can ask for!
why are they taking pictures in the garage of some 60 year old creepy dude!! looks like lin's salary cap hold is preventing us from getting some glamor shots at sears! grr!
Morey: Coach and I very excited about the season. ... Been awhile since I had this feeling coming in. We're coming in with a real shot to do something special and it's up to the guys in the locker room. McHale: (Immediate concerns or to-do's?) There's always a to-do list. Starting off, that we get camp going and play the way we need to(pushing the ball) and getting the ball in to Dwight. Finding minutes - (where Carlos was valuable to us last year) - who takes those minutes? How much can we play Omer and Dwight together? TJ and DMo give us a classic type four. Can Omri play the four? It's all around how can you fill Carlos' minutes. Also getting better defensively. Dwight will help immediately. As we go, there will always be concerns. Off the top of my head, that's where we're at. Morey: I think we have two top ten players. They have to prove that but they've played at high levels. You gotta have at least one and it's great to have two who can play at an elite level and then guys who play a role around them. We're not the favorites but we have players that if they can gel, we have a shot to make some noise. McHale: There are three ways to get the ball in the paint: dribble, pass, or offensive rebound. We want the ball in the paint every possession if we can. We want to collapse the defense. It may look different (this year). Your personnel drives how you play. If Hakeem was in the post last year, we'd have less dribble penetration. Dwight looks good, looks quick, looks strong, very fresh. He says he feels good. Our training staff did a total evaluation of him in July. He looks fantastic. I was lucky to work out with him and Hakeem. It was great. Hakeem did a great job with Dwight. It was a great week in Aspen. I like what I see. If we want to have success, top players have to figure out how to play together. There is only one ball. It makes it easier on you having another guy out there. It's embracing playing with other good players. When they don't, it doesn't work. People would be saying that was a heck of a rookie year last year(if you take away Linsanity in NY). I think he'll be better. (Asik and Howard together) If it works well, we'll play them a lot. If it doesn't work, not much. We'll give it every opportunity. Howard loves to play basketball. Getting to know him has been fun. It's my job to put him in position to succeed. (What are you looking for at the four spot?) Who helps the team the most. I'd like to play small a bit. Guys are excited to get going. I guarantee we'll have times when we struggle. They believe together that they'll find a way to get it done. Morey: Going back 12 months and you told me you'll have premiere guys on the wing and post, I'd say you're crazy. We're all in, all about right now. Our young guys need to step up. We're not a finished team but we're focused on being great come Mid-April. We need home court.

Since it doesn't show Asik doing the big interview, is there any word on what he is talking about in the smaller interview?
Camby took 21. Beverley took 2. Howard took 12. ______________________________ Harden seems so excited. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>The Beard is in the building. <a href="https://twitter.com/JHarden13">@jharden13</a> recording radio spots for Sports Talk 790. <a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%23NBAMediaDay&src=hash">#NBAMediaDay</a> <a href="http://t.co/FztqAEnM4X">http://t.co/FztqAEnM4X</a></p>— Houston Rockets (@HoustonRockets) <a href="https://twitter.com/HoustonRockets/statuses/383650999510249472">September 27, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
