I find it funny that they replaced the actual Wendy (Dave Thomas' daughter) with this slim red head in the commercials.

I agree. I recall after Dave died, the real Wendy was going to be the face of the company. Now they've replaced her with a skinny, hotter, younger red head. I bet in real life this chick ain't eating Wendys.
I can't stand these commercials. I can't believe there are ad execs out there who draw this up...film it...then look at it and think, "Yes! That's exactly what we're going for!"
