Wow. Way to judge billions on the actions of a few. You know what else is sick going all across the americas, looting, plundering, raping, and converting natives, forcing them to churches or die. What religion was that?

Some might be scared and some don't care but it all has the same effect. I don't see how anyone can say Islam is a peaceful religion unless you count the silence that comes after the violence.

They do care and are scared of losing their lives or their families lives as revenge.

They're losing their lives standing by anyway. Isn't the conventional wisdom that the most moderate Muslims dies at the hands of other extremist Muslims?

This has been shown to be false time and time again. Non-Radicals are speaking out and taking actions to shut radicals down time after time and instance after instance.

Of course those things aren't big news stories so the casual observer wouldn't know. Yet the casual observer has no problem lobbing out criticism without taking the time to really understand what is being done.

Lets just say the what they are doing...if anything...is having absolutely no affect. So maybe they should try something else.

Or maybe, just maybe, Islam really isn't a religion of peace.

Historically, it isn't. (Neither are most other religions, including Christianity.)

Of course, we agree that the vast majority of its followers are peaceful anyway.

I am sure that godhatesfags.org does not want homosexuals to be removed from this earth. Or the Christians in Africa don't really want to kill witches, they just want to teach them a lesson.

Are you saying that the terrorist murderers in Kenya "just wanted to teach someone a lesson"? What are you even trying to say? You are not making any sense. At all.

lol, do you want them to apologize for something they don't even believe belongs in their religion? Do you apologize for something anytime someone who shares your race/faith does something wrong? Do you write a Facebook status to let everyone know that you condemn wrong? If that's what you want non-radicals to do, then you should know that hundreds of imams write Facebook statuses denouncing the acts "radical Muslims" carry out. Maybe you just don't pay attention, or maybe you just don't want to see it. Honestly, I want to know what you want "non-radicals" to do.

I can understand where you're coming from, however. The arduous task of reconstructing the image of Islam needs to begin through action, not through words. Without a leading figure in Islam, I just don't see how such a thing can be done. Here's a good little snippet from an imam's Facebook status a Muslim friend of mine shared:

I think you missed the sarcasm in my post. I was responding to the statement "radical Muslims are for genocide". Which implied only radical Islams were capable of this act.

Go to a village run by Taliban and speak out. See what happens.
