I've been avoiding this thread because of spoilers. I do t want anything to be revealed to me. I just wanted to chime in and say that this game is amazing. I had unbelievable hype for it and it has probably reached 75% of that, which is crazy good, and I'm only 20% complete.
Im still in awe of just how great this game was. Finished several days ago and I find myself going back to do even the most basic things like playing golf and everything. Really wondering how to make 150,000,000$ to buy the golf course.
Originally, I wasn't going to purchase this game. I found a deal at TRU last week and picked it up for $48 and got a free $20 game that I returned later. Ended up paying $30 for it. I'm not a fan of GTA games and didn't like GTA4 at all, but this game is great. I enjoy playing the side/heist missions and the story is pretty good.
Some people have been posting guides on how to make hundreds of millions. Essentially, it involves saving Lester's assassination missions until after you finish the main storyline and then betting nearly everything on his tips/manipulations.
I did the exact same deal. How / who did you return the game to? Pretty sure TRU won't take it back because the receipt says "$0.00?"
I got 100k for returning a random dudes stolen bike. He randomly emailed me that he sent me 100k worth of his stocks. I sold it right away haha
I've been able to double my money twice playing the stock markets. Most of the other times the markets I buy up don't move much at all.
bought 50 grand worth of cigarettes stocks doing that assassin mission. made me 17k. ill be buying more per mission for sure. definitely cant skip the intro for those missions
Havent played the game yet. I dont like the idea of playing with three characters to be honest. I'd rather have one person throughout and build my skills and gain money for my character. I'm probably wrong here since I haven't played yet.
Yea thats another good way. Listen to Lester when he gives the hints. I missed out on the first one but the cigs mission I made 10k
As mentioned, the online mode will be good for that. Personally, I've enjoyed the three characters bc it provides a continued freshness for the missions, making it less tedious by mixing things up constantly.
Is there a quicker way to buy stocks? I spent 150k on the second assassination mission on stocks and was clicking on the + button a bazillion times for like 15 minutes. Only made about $40k after going back to bed for a week. Wasn't worth the time.
