I was offered the following: SEND: Chris Johnson RECEIVE: CJ Spiller AND Antonio Brown or Julian Edelman I'm thinking this is a no brainer but is there more wrong with Spiller than I know. Johnson is getting a nice workload but has yet to see the end zone and as soon as the Titans reach inside the 5 yard line Battle is getting the touches or they pass. Should I?
Take this in a heartbeat. It's not like Chris Johnson has been killing it or anything. Also, Antonio Brown for sure. He's upside is huge, way better get than Edelman who's value is at a peak right now.
Im thinking of sending this trade in a .5 PPR league I send: Julius Thomas TE I receive: Reggie Wayne WR I have Witten as a TE, but I can play a tight end in the flex, so right now im starting both. my other WRs are: Cobb, Nelson, Deandre Hopkins the other team only has Finley, so they would want to get Thomas. I was thinking of asking Brandon Marshall, but I dont think he would accept it, so asking for Wayne, what do you think? I think its a good trade for both.
I'm way not an expert, so I'm interested to hear if the experts in this forum agree or not. In a vacuum (I don't know the rest of your team), that's too much value for Wayne. In fact, I think Julius Thomas > Witten. So short answer, I would think about trading Witten first but Julius Thomas should be able to buy you a bigger piece than Wayne.
CJ has yet to score a TD - so one may think that he's due to go on a tear soon. Spiller seems to be jinxed by Fred Jackson (whenever he's healthy, he's like Spiller's Kryptonite or something). Spiller scares me right now (especially this week going against Baltimore D and that thigh thingy). But if you do make the trade, I agree on Brown over Julian. Amedola, when he comes back, is suppose to take away targets from Julian and I'm not sure what the timeline is, but it may be only a couple of weeks away.
Here's my Team: QB: Colin Kap RBs: Forte, McCoy, FJax, Pead WRs: Welker, Hilton, Tavon Austin TE: V. Davis, Bennet I'm thinking about the following trade: Send: Forte + Hilton Receive: Alfred Morris + Desean Jackson Unfortunately, Morris goes on bye in Week 5. Anyways, the new line-up for Week 4 would be: QB: Kap WRs: Welker, Desean RBs: McCoy, Morris TE: Davis (may switch to Bennet) Flex: FJax (I don't have a better option here) Thoughts?
It sounds great especially if you need a wr and double especially if it's ppr. Does Spiller have a favorable rest of season schedule comparable to Johnson? The titans dedication to the run game is great, but I'm scared the 20-25 carries a game might wear down Chris Johnson post bye, when his schedule really opens up.
Not only will Amendola take away from Edelman but this week Gronk coming back will do the same. Most of Brady's reads are inside-out. So he starts looking at the inside of the field and then scans towards the outsides. This means, in general, Gronk gets the first look, then the slot, then the outside guys or the RB dump off.
Should I throw in Bowe or Wallace if he asks? So then the trade would be RECEIVE: CJ Spiller Antonio Brown SEND: Chris Johnson Dwayne Bowe/Mike Wallace
Start Pryor or Wilson? Pryor is playing against the awful Was Def. Obviously this depends on his progress post concussion.
FYI, from what I heard Flynn was prepping this week to start ... so like Kate implied, watch for the green light. Thanks for the feedback MAK.
This is what worries me. CJ Spiller hasn't really been killing it either and to be perfectly honest, Fred Jackson has looked better than him in every facet of the game. I know Chris Johnson hasn't been great but it looks like Spiller is taking a dive from his first round status this year.
Shorts in PPR. Blackmon in standard. I think Shorts is near the top of the league in targets. Plenty of room for Blackmon to squeeze in. Teams that play from behind have to pass.
Overthinking my roster I think but maybe not. Let me know what you think about the following trades to round out roster. QB: Newton WR: Marshall WR: Nelson RB: Martin RB: Ridley Flex: Gronkowski Bench: Shorts Bench: Joique Bell Bench: Fred Jackson Bench: Dwayne Bowe The first part of my plan is to offer Fred Jackson + Cecil Shorts for Eric Decker. The other guy has CJ Spiller underperforming & Run DMC at RB and has 4 WR2 types including Vincent Jackson. If he denies this then I am interested in offering Fred Jackson for Vincent Jackson. Am I overvaluing Fred Jackson? I don't really think so considering he has a wealth of WR2's (Wallace, Boldin, Decker, and Jackson) the next part of my plan assuming I can get Decker or Vincent Jackson, I will offer Brandon Marshall for Reggie Bush + DeAndre Hopkins to round out my team. I love having Bush and Joique Bell on my roster as I excpect big things from this offense. If Bush goes down Bell becomes top 10 RB easily. If Bush & Bell both play I still like Bush as a Top 15 RB basically every week. Am I overvaluing Bush and the handcuff? The league is 1/2PPR. Let me know what you think. My team would look as follows: QB: Newton WR: Nelson WR: Decker (or Vincent Jackson) (received for Fred Jackson and Cecil shorts) RB: Martin RB: Bush Flex: Gronkowski Bench: Joique Bell Bench: Ridley Bench: Hopkins Bench: Bowe
