Nope. Plenty of Democrats like this. That's why you didn't see four years of Democrats trying to repeal Medicare part D, capped off with a faux filibuster and threats to shut down the government and default on our national debt, just because it was a Bush program.
Anyone who thinks this will cost less than premiums do under current plans has an extra hole in their head. It's impossible. This is going to be really fun to revisit in about two or three years. Which I am sure we will. :grin:
