Um, this show takes place in current times, y'all. Sorry for whoever spent hours and hours researching that game and ignored every other detail in the past 5 seasons to tell you that the show takes place in modern times. Hell, Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium puts you in like 2008 at the earliest.
That was just CF member "So Good" throwing something out there hoping it would stick. The research on the hockey game was implying that WW or even Jesse (maybe?) are going to make a remarkable run in the final episode.
Yeah that's my bad. Was just wondering since the tv in that bar looked super old, the phones they carry around are pretty old. Thinking back now, it's modern time like everyone has said since the cars they drive are pretty new, etc.

I think Walter White will make a guest appearance in the final episode. When he saw Gretchin say that the person who is "Walter White" had long ago, and that he was never a part of Grey Matter it triggered a spark in his soul. I think Walter returns and goes to save Jesse, there will be a shakespear styled shootout and the real Walt will tell Jesse to "Run", just like he did when he ran over the drug dealers that sparked the feud with Gus. Jesse will run, and Walter White (not Heisenberg) will die in the shootout with Meth Damon and his bunch. Jesse will have second thoughts, though. He will come back to Walt's aid and kill Meth Damon because of what he did to his ex-gf/hookup/#whatever. I also think that Walt will leave plenty of evidence on himself to clear his family of any wrong doing, possibly even Jesse.
Remember, that this whole series is about a man who lost himself...well its only fitting that in the final episode he returns to the person he use to be. But in doing so, he loses his life but potentially saves others. Will the real Walter White please stand up???
Here's the thing about that Denny's - it's right across the street from the University of New Mexico campus- I mean, it's a really busy area. Now, why would Walter White go to a Denny's in a heavy traffic area? I mean, at this point he doesn't give a ****, but still, you're asking to be caught if you're him and going to that location. Of course, it's all fiction, but just a thought. Also, the picture of the bathroom is the exact bathroom, but it's not on the left, it's on the right, so they must have used another one for filming the interior. But the outside shot is one they used and the bathroom is also. Being the goofball that I am, I'm actually staying at the Crossroads Motel. Ain't exactly the best place, but for $37 a night, it's not too bad:
