Falcons should be in desperation mode against the Pats. I think they will win. 49ers are in the same position against the Rams. Should be a blowout unless the Rams play really inspired. Steelers vs. Vikings = Loser Bowl If either the Redskins or Giants lose, it will be official they are done. Shanahan would become a dead coach walking who may not finish the season.
hope the Skins lose, Griffin needs a better coach, Shanahan is nothing without Kubes, the only bad thing is the redskins wont get their first rounder this year, it goes to the Rams
Tough game for my Bears. I wish I had more confidence in them but I think this one is a loss. Lions seem to play their best games against us in Detroit.
Not sure what you've been watching for the last couple of years but the Bears have owned the Lions, they've lost once in their last 8 match ups. Cutler has been great vs them: In four road games against Detroit, Cutler has completed 89 of 131 passes (67.9 percent) for 1,016 yards — 234 yards or more each time — with seven touchdown passes and no interceptions for a 108.8 passer rating. http://www.suntimes.com/sports/foot...ay-cutler-is-the-master-of-the-ford-pass.html Bears will win, might blow them out. Rest of my picks.... Thursday night games should only be scheduled after a bye week for both teams. 4 days isn't enough time to prepare, not to mention to physically recover from the last game.
This would be the most logical thing to do for the NFL, but they still won't do it. They fought to have Thursday night games starting in week 1, and this rule would make that impossible since bye weeks don't start until after week 4.
Freeman is intriguing to me. He's shown good mobility, and a strong arm in the past, but his development has deteriorated so badly. His ability to make reads, and his accuracy have gone downhill drastically, but I still can't help but wonder how much of an affect his terrible relationship with Schiano has to do with that. I've never been a believer in him ever since he made the jump from Rutgers. The Saban-like control freak coaches never seem to be able to earn the respect of NFL players who are all grown-ass men. NFL players aren't interested in being told when to run gassers, or when to eat meals.....they want to see X's and O's, solid gameplans, and an overall mentality on how they are expected to approach the game. Schiano seems to lack in that department, and I wonder if a change in scenery would get Freeman back to the guy he was in college, and his rookie season.
They'd end up having to go back to the two bye weeks/team that they had for a brief time in the 80's (less overall teams in the league as well). Another annoying thing about the Thursday night game is that they tried to get every team on there at least once... meaning there are a lot of mediocre games (let alone the quality decreases because teams haven't recovered enough or prepared enough).
I'm looking forward to Mia-NO on Monday night. Also, hoping my Bengals can make it to 3-1; last week almost gave me a heart attack.
How can I watch NFLTV (Thursday Night Football)? Any places you recommend? I live around the galleria area
But those that are coming off a bye week and the playing on Thursday will give them extra days to prepare for the upcoming Sunday giving them extra rest days compared to other team
too me Bradord is in the same boat as Josh Freeman, he is getting paid A LOT of money, surrounded by elite talent, and just stinking up the place
we're rooting for the 49ers tonight yes? if they lose they will have a huge sense of urgency against us
