should i keep the 49ers D? or should I pick up from FA? the packers, falcons, saints, colts, and eagles are all still available? and i'm sure the 49ers won't be as effective with aldon smith out..
If you're playing weekly matchups, the Colts might not be a bad pick up. They're on the road against Jacksonville, so they're going against a terrible offense.
Thinking about offering the following: Trade: Stevan Ridley, Fred Jackson, Dwayne Bowe Receive: Trent Richardson, Le'Veon Bell (he also has James Jones but not sure this is "fair") QB: Cam WR: Brandon Marshall WR: Jordy Nelson RB: Doug Martin RB: Stevan Ridley Flex: Gronkowski Bench: Fred Jackson, Joique Bell, Dwayne Bowe, Cecil Shorts I am really looking for a solid RB2 that can be relied on week to week to get 15+ touches. Should I offer this trade? The guy I would trade with is a newbie so not sure how he will take this but I think it is win-win for both teams since he has Woodhead as his RB2 at the moment. This would also leave me with one spot on my bench to pickup a waiver WR like Kenbrell Thompkins or Emmanuel Sanders. Actually leaning towards Sanders. Does anyone think Le'Veon can be solid RB depth this year? He was a beast in college and seems legit but Pittsburgh has been bad so far.
How about Jimmy Graham + Chris Johnson for Marshawn Lynch + Jordan Cameron? (I would be receiving Jimmy Graham and Chris Johnson).
He wouldn't take that trade. T-Rich is sexy right now and everyone is scared of Ridley. Doesn't make sense and most newbies are hesitant to trade... they're even hesitate to make add/drops.
Yeah if you're looking to add a RB, but with Graham.. you could target almost any 1st round RB outside of Peterson. Maybe a package of Graham for Peterson. But straight up. I'd look for Doug Martin, Jamal Charles, Reggie... Forte plus something. Lynch.
Couple of things to consider though. I'd be left pretty weak at RB as my core would be CJ, Gore, and Sproles. I also have Brees at QB so the Saints' bye week would be hard to survive.
Agreed, I offered it nonetheless. He traded Kaepernick for Isaac Redman to begin the season so anything is possible. I think he has learned his lesson since then. Kaep hasn't been as effective as we thought but still that trade should have never went through. It wasn't even collussion on his part, just bad NFL/fantasy knowledge. His starting QB is RGIII. He is 0-3 with no other way of improving his roster so if I was him I would milk T-Rich for all he is worth and get a 2 for 1 or even 3 for 1 to round out my squad. But alas, he will probably not do that. On a different note, I have been offered David Wilson for Dwayne Bowe straightup. He is fairly desperate for a WR so he mentioned Gio Bernard as well but not sure if he would actually offer him. Thinking of trying to hold out for Bernard but I actually think Wilson and the Giants will become productive pretty soon after gut checks from Coughlin. They always seem to bounce back when stuck in a hole.
Is this a 10 team or 12 team league? If this is a 12 team league... I'd say with that RB core plus Brees. You're ok and not to worry about bye weeks. When Brees and Sproles is on bye, if Cutler is on waivers.. consider using him in week 7 @ WAS or Dalton @ DET. Sproles is likely your flex, you should have bench sleeper to fill that spot.
I'd tough it out with Wilson... he's so much better than the other RBs on the Giants, eventually they will have to give him a heavy workload and quit with this RB by committee crap. At least a 70/30 split at some point this season.
